Home Visits & Emergencies
A home visit can take up to one hour, including travel time, whereas a telephone or face-to-face appointment typically takes around 12 minutes. This highlights why home visits are reserved for patients who, in the clinician’s judgment, are unable to attend the practice for clinical reasons.
All home visit requests must be submitted through Accurx Total Triage. Clinicians will review the request directly via the triage form in your records and will only contact you if it is absolutely necessary to clarify information. Visits will then be assigned to any available doctor or clinician.
